Grand opening of http://chescandinavia.com - the penya's new home on the internet. Received attention from Swedish, Norwegian and Spanish media (SuperDeporte, paper edition june 15th).

The annual meeting was held on the IRC channel #chescandinavia, on Freenode.
April 16th, 2008
Trip to the Spanish Cup final, Copa del Rey, against Getafe at Vicente Calderón stadium in Madrid, Spain. The penya was only given four tickets, but the four lucky members who travelled to Madrid returned with memories for life! The match was also the premiere for our big banner (5x1 meters!), which was easily seen on TV throughout the match.

Warm-up at the Three Lions pub i Trondheim, Norway, before the game at Lerkendal stadium against Rosenborg BK. About 20 participants.

Constitutional act of the penya in Borås, Sweden. Dinner and warm-up, before seeing the match against IF Elfsborg at Borås Arena. Live webcast from the meeting, which was also covered by local and spanish media. Also present were the club president and board at the time, as well as the president and representatives from the Agrupacío de Penyes. About 30 participants, plus guests.
